I just had a great experience with this company.  I had a Groupon for two hours of moving services, and used them to move some heavy pieces around in my home and to my storage unit.  They were prompt, professional, and very efficient. (04/07/2017)

(April 2017) I can't imagine how these guys could be any better, seriously.

Professional, efficient, knowledgeable, personable, polite, came in on budget and on time. My experience was care free because they keep their promises and do what they say they will do. These guys earned every cent we gave 'em and more. Very pleased with the service and recommend them highly.

Oh and call right away to lock in the date you want, they get booked quickly.

(04/03/2017) After searching for a moving company that was able to do a short distance (approximately 20-30 miles, one way), I found this company on groupon.  I did some quick research on it, but couldn't find much.  Regardless, I called the number I found on groupon, and spoke with a representative and found there was a time slot almost exactly for when I was looking.  I went ahead and booked the groupon.

A short time later, I received a call from the representative saying that my distance was a little more than anticipated, calculated incorrectly before due to a typo.  I cancelled the groupon; however, Polar Bear Moving was happy to honor the previously quoted price.

The day of the move, I had my 50-ish boxes already to go.  (I did not need help packing or moving anything.)  The two man team loaded the truck in approximately 20 minutes and we headed to the new location.  I arrived a bit earlier than they did and unloaded my car in the meantime.

When the two men arrived, after a little searching, they were able to find a parking spot.  In about an hour, they were able to unload the truck and deliver the boxes to a second floor walk up apartment within an hour and a half!

From arrival to dropping off the last box, the whole move took less than three hours.  I was very pleasantly surprised with this, thinking it would be a lot more.  The final cost was still under the nearest other quote I had received.  The customer service was quick to answer/reply as well, whether it was a phone call or email.

A minor note: there is a 5% surcharge if using a credit card to pay. However, the quote I had was right on target and so withdrew the amount ahead of time.

This company is amazing and reliable. The movers showed up on time. They did a professional and great job. It was so relaxing to have this honest company move me, after past experience with a company that gave me one price over the phone and than try to charge more at the door. Thank you guys!

My movers were great. They went above and beyond my expectations. They were friendly and ahead of schedule. If you move I recommend this company and especially my team Serge and Mike! I will be sure to recommend them to my friends.

My girlfriend and I hired Polar Bear Moving Company few days ago for our move from Frederick to Kentlands, MD and couldn't have been happier. They cared for our belongings as if they were their own and brought a team of professional and very friendly guys with them.  Even when my girlfriend and I weren't sure exactly where to put our things, they patiently waited with a smile until we found the right spot.  I have moved a lot over the years and have not had such a personalized and professional move ever. I cannot say enough great things about Irene and her team. Not only was the cost the most competitive quote I received, but they moved with such efficiency it blew me away. I highly recommend them!

Everything from the first call to inquire about my move until the time the move was completed and I paid the charges which were very reasonable, the service and professionalism was unsurpassed!!!  I have never had this good of an experience with any company ever,  especially a moving company.  They were awesome!!!

I used Polar Bear for a local move within DC and had a great experience. They were very easy to work with, communicating by email and phone. The day of the move the team arrived right on time and did a great job packing all the stuff in our apartment. I could tell the care they used to pack up our valuables. They worked fast and loaded/unloaded the truck in no time. Reasonable rates and great service.

This was the easiest move of my life. I have moved over 7 times in the past 8 years and this was by far the most seamless process I have ever had. I received an email confirmation and a follow up phone call within hours of scheduling the appointment. I also received a call the night before and day of to notify me of the exact start time. When they crew arrived they were very professional and were very positive through the process. They are affordable and make moving an easy process.

Great moving company. The rates were really fair and the movers showed up on time and were able to find parking in a spot that was difficult to find parking with no complaints. With all the stress that goes into moving, they really helped make everything easier and did a great job!

Polar Bear Moving is hands down the best moving experience I have ever had. I have used many moving companies in my life and have always been left with a bad experience. This moving company is the exception though. They provided me with best move that I could have asked for and more. They were quick, efficient, knowledgable, and took amazing care of my belongings. This was the first move I have ever had without anything being broken or damaged. Our movers were also awesome! They were very professional, responsible, and personable. I highly recomend.
